The Birdham at Bembridge is located in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight, a short ferry journey from mainland UK, 33 km from Southampton and 12 km from Portsmouth. Guests can enjoy the on-site gastropub.... extremely comfortable, clean and spacious room. windows to open fully without restrictions. absolutely great, helpful and welcoming staff. unbelievable lovely breakfast. best place to stay! Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Waverley Inn is a Victorian era pub build around 1886 which offers pet-friendly accommodation 10-15 minutes' walk from Newport. This property had lots of character & the food in the pub was delicious! We especially enjoyed the Sunday Roast & the breakfast was an excellent start to our morning. The owners & staff were all so friendly, welcoming, & helpful. Our double room was very spacious and comfortable with an oversized bathroom. Do understand this is a pub with rooms, not a modern hotel. That’s really the charm of it & my husband & I are so glad we chose to stay here! An added benefit of staying here is a really central location on the Isle of Wight so you can get around quite quickly. Carisbrooke Castle and Newport are even within walking distance.

Chad Hill Hotel is a traditional Victorian house, located 5 minutes’ walk from Sandown city centre and rail station. Sandown beach and pier are only 650 metres from the hotel. Wow, what a welcoming atmosphere! There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel were you can relax. The venue is also full of trees, for me that is a real positive point.

Staff very friendly and incredibly helpful. Excellent breakfast and plenty of choice. Always served quickly. Ideal location by the Redjet and in centre of Cowes.
